In our initial property assessment, we will attend your home to assess and discuss your thoughts and ideas about your home extension. We will offer you our advice and assistance on your proposed project and take the time to listen to what you really want done. Our initial feasibility study will include the production of initial design proposals, outline plans and budget estimates, together with a preliminary planning assessment.
Our design proposal service will see us produce a detailed design scheme proposals in preparation for submission, and our space planning service will offer you further advice on all aspects of interior and exterior space planning. This enables you to maximize the use of otherwise wasted space.
The hardest part of the design and build of any new domestic extension, or build, can be dealing with statutory consents. We can prepare and advise you on planning regulations, as well as liaise with local authority planning departments prior to any planning application. We will also assist you with the submission of planning and building regulations applications.
If required, our service can involve obtaining competitive building quotations, from tried and tested local building contractors, and agreeing a building programme for the work, including start and completion dates. We can also coordinate the work and as well as agreeing the method of stage payments prior to initial work commencing. This will simplify the entire process and alleviate the need for you to be on call at all times during the build.
We will also assist with the communication with specialist surveyors to coordinate all requirements of the local authority above and beyond any of the initial requirements, i.e. environmental site surveys, biodiversity surveys, tree surveys etc.
